RESEARCH PROFILE
My main research areas are Microeconomics and Industrial Organization. More specifically, I'm interested in the economics (market structure, pricing, investment and regulatory issues) of network industries and multi-sided markets. Network industries are a large part of the world economy and have been the engines of fast growth
. Some of the industries that I'm interested and currently involved are telecommunications, broadcasting/advertising and banking (payment cards).I am also interested in behavioral economics issues, namely, the links between agents' (biased) perceptions of reality and how that might affect their economic behavior (individual decision making process) and the equilibrium outcomes.
